Visits to our websites:

We can also collect information when you visit our Websites, open our emails, use our apps or interact with our related tools, widgets or plug-ins.  We may also use automated means such as cookies, web beacons and web server logs to collect certain information.

The information collected in this manner may include your IP address, unique device identifier, browser characteristics, domain and other system settings, search queries, device characteristics, operating system type, language preferences, referring URLs, actions taken on our site, dates and times of website visits, metadata and other information associated with other files stored on your device.

You may see our ads on other websites because we use third-party ad networks, such as Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/policies/ads) to serve our ads. Through such ad networks, we can target our messaging to users through demographic, interest-based and contextual means.

We can track your online activities over time by collecting information through automated means, including through the use of third-party cookies, web server logs, pixels and web beacons.

The networks use this information to show you advertisements that may be tailored to your individual interests. Social Media:

When you connect with social media though the Website, you may link with social media platforms and social media plug-ins (e.g., the Facebook "Like" button, "Share to Twitter" button) (collectively, "Social Media"). When accessing services through a Facebook or other social media account, we may (depending on the applicable user privacy settings) automatically have access to information provided to or through the social media platform. We may collect and use this information for the purposes described in this Policy or at the time the information was collected.

Third Party providers:

Information collected directly by the third party providers of the features are subject to their privacy policies or notices of those providers. We are not responsible for those providers' information and privacy practices.  Also the providers of third-party apps, tools, widgets and plug-ins on our websites and apps, such as Facebook “Like” buttons, also may use automated means to collect information regarding your interactions with these features. This information is collected directly by these providers of the features and is subject to the privacy policies or notices of these providers. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for these providers’ information practices.

Location of Devices:

We also may collect information about the location of the mobile device or tablet used to access the Website ("Location Data"). Location Data includes: (a) the location of the mobile device or tablet derived from GPS or WiFi use; (b) the IP address of the mobile device or tablet or internet service used to access the Website; and (c) other information made available by a user or others that indicates the current or prior location of the user, such as geotag information in photographs.

We will inform you if a specific Website, app or service collects precise Location Data. If you do not want us to collect Location Data from your device, please delete the app or disable the location settings on your device or tablet. Note, however, that disabling the location setting may affect your ability to access and use that application.

  • Cookies. We may place a text file called a “cookie” in the browser files of your computer. The cookie itself does not contain personal information although it will enable us to relate your use of this site to information that you have provided. The only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can’t read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. We use cookies to track user traffic patterns (as described above). You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. If you’ve set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you will receive the warning message with each cookie. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use this site.   • Web beacons. Web beacons are small, transparent graphics that are placed on our website to track how you arrive at our website and what you do at the website. We do not disclose personal information we collect about you, except as described in this Policy.

 Third-party Service Providers: We use third-party service providers in various aspects of our business, and we may share your personal information with them as necessary for them to perform their functions. For example, service providers may assist us with order fulfillment, package delivery, credit card issuance, the providing of warranties, credit card processing, customer service, website functionality or promotions. They may collect personal or non-personal statistics about our users, and have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes. In addition, we may use third-party service providers to serve ads on our behalf across the Internet and sometimes on this site or to present special offers to you when you visit our website. They may collect anonymous information about your visits to our Web site, and your interaction with our products and services. They may also use information about your visits to this and other Web sites to target advertisements or offers for goods and services. This anonymous information is collected through the use of a pixel tag, which is industry standard technology used by most major web sites. No personally identifiable information is collected or used in this process. They do not know the name, phone number, address, email address, or any personally identifying information about the user.

Sharing Information with Affiliated Companies: We share customer information that we collect with our Affiliated Companies, including personal information. Our Affiliated Companies generally have privacy policies similar to ours or agree to be bound by our privacy policy before any customer information is provided to them.

Other Websites: We often provide links to other websites. If you choose to visit any of these sites, please understand that they have their own privacy policies and you may wish to review them. This Policy applies only to information collected by this website and by us.

Other Disclosures: We may disclose personal information when we are required or requested to do so by law, court order, subpoena, legal process, or other government or law enforcement authority or regulatory agency to establish, exercise, enforce or apply our rights and agreements; defend against legal claims, or when we believe in good faith that disclosing this information is necessary or advisable, including, for example, to protect the rights, property or safety of our website, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. We may also share information in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities.

With your Consent: We will share personally identifiable information with certain specific third party marketers when you accept an offer from them or otherwise consent for us to do so. Such personally identifiable information may include your name, credit/debit card number and expiration date, physical and email addresses and other billing information, as well as other information that you consent to provide.

Privacy Policies of Third Parties:  Any third parties to whom we may disclose personal information may have their own privacy policies which describe how they use and disclose personal information. In addition to restrictions imposed under this Policy upon third parties use of personal information obtained from us, the third parties’ privacy policies will also govern use, handling and disclosure of your personal information once we have shared it with those third parties as described in this Privacy Policy.

Sale of Business: We may also share or transfer information, including your personal information, in connection with the sale, transfer, acquisition, merger, acquisition, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, bankruptcy or other change or ownership or control by our company or any affiliated company (in each case, whether in whole or in part). If you receive an e-mail that looks like it is from us asking you for your personal information, do not respond. We will never request your password, username, credit card information, or other personal information through e-mail.

You can also unsubscribe from our mailing lists by following the "Unsubscribe" link in our emails. We will honor all opt-out requests on a timely basis, however, there may be a delay between submission of such request and actual removal from our mailing lists, as these lists are generated well in advance of our actual mailings.

Text Messaging Services: When you sign up for one of our text messaging programs, you are expressly consenting to receive text messages on your cell phone or other mobile device about our products, services, and/or programs which may be sent by automated means. Text messages will only be sent to the mobile phone number used to opt into the applicable text message program. Details on how many messages you should expect to receive are provided at the time of enrollment. In some instances, you may have the opportunity to reply to a message, which may result in additional response messages. Your consent to enrollment in any text message program is not a condition of purchase. For information about a text message program you may text HELP to the applicable short code. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge a fee for our text message programs and assume no responsibility for charges by your carrier that you may incur when you sign up to receive text messages from us. You may opt out of a text message program at any time by texting STOP to the applicable short code. You will receive a final confirmation message to confirm that you will no longer receive text messages from the applicable text message program unless you opt back into such program. Some of our text messaging services have additional terms and conditions that will apply in addition to the description above.

Opting out of communications does not affect our communication with you via telephone or e-mail regarding orders or other sales or service transactions.
Registration, Newsletters and Opt-Out: When you register on our website, you will be asked if you would like to receive information on our products, services and promotions and information about similar products and services offered by third parties we have selected. You can indicate your interest by checking the box indicated in the subscription services center. You may opt out of receiving these promotional emails by deleting the check mark next to the option to receive promotional emails found in the subscription center. You can also sign up for our newsletter on our website by inserting your email address into a box marked for that purpose. You may unsubscribe from our email services whenever you like by using the opt out link on our email correspondence. Service-Related Emails:  We reserve the right to send you service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For example, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. Generally you can’t opt out of these communications unless you deactivate your account.

Transaction-specific Emails: If you provide your email address when placing an order, either online or via our call center, you will receive transaction-based emails including but not limited to order confirmation and shipment confirmation.

Do Not Track Policy: Some browsers have a "do not track" feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want your online activities tracked. At this time, the Websites do not respond to web browser “do not track” requests or similar signals that users may employ.

Consent:  By providing information on or through a Website you are consenting to the collection, use and disclosure of such personal information as described in this Policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time by following the procedure described in the Choice/Opt-Out section above.

Site Optimization and Usage Tracking: In order to assure your visits to our websites are completely satisfactory, our system automatically identifies which browser you are using, the IP (Internet Provider) you used for access, and your Operating System. We do not collect any personal information from your hard drive. We also track user traffic patterns throughout our website. We use tracking information to determine which areas of our site users like and don’t like based on traffic to those areas, as well as the kinds of products that most interest our customers. We do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue building a better site for you. To do this, we use web beacons and cookies (discussed below). We contract with third parties to help manage and optimize our Internet business and communications. All such postings and content are subject to our policy.

 6.   Access Rights, Correction, and Retention

Access Rights:  If you have registered or have an account with us this will enable you to access and check your personal information at any time to make sure that is accurate, complete and up to date on our websites. 

Correction: You can correct or update the information in your customer profile by clicking on the My Account link on our websites and following the instructions provided to you. You may also email us at lloydassociate@gmail.com or lloydgemsjewelry@gmail.com so that we could update your information.

Retention: Please note that you can request having your personal information removed from our database.  However, we may retain your personal information for as long as we think is necessary or advisable, and we reserve the right to retain it to the full extent not prohibited by law.

 

7.   Children’s Privacy

We are committed to protecting the privacy of minors under the age of 18 years and this website is only intended for users over the age of 18. Persons between the ages of 13 and 18 (minors) may only use this website with the consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from people under the age of 13.

If we become aware that a minor has submitted personal information to us through any part of the site, we will delete such personal information as soon as reasonably possible upon discovery.

This Website may contain links to third party websites operated by individuals or companies unrelated to us. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third party websites. We provide links to these websites for your convenience only and you access them at your own risk. Supplementation of Information. In order to provide our services to you, we may supplement the personal information you submit to us with information from third party sources. 9. Notice to California Residents

California Civil Code Section 1798.83:  If you are a California resident and your business relationship with us is primarily for personal, family or household purposes, you may request certain data regarding our disclosure, if any, of personal information to third parties for their third parties’ direct marketing purposes.   Please send an e-mail message to lloydgemsjewelry.com with “Request for California Privacy Information” in the subject line. You may make such a request free of charge once per calendar year. If applicable, we will provide you via e-mail with a list of the categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year, along with the third parties’ names and addresses. Please note that not all personal information sharing is covered by Section 1798.83’s requirements
